I feared that I had kept this bottle (purchased at the winery in 2013) too long, but no worries... the wine is now fully mature, though. Still good colour, with little browning at the edges. Some leathery notes creeping in, but still some attractive fruit in the nose, and while not exactly velvety, in the mouth it is quite smooth, with very little tannin showing. It's ages since I've been able to afford good Burgundy, but I'd say that this LCJ Pinot has a certain degree of classic old world elegance.
