While initially a bit closed on the nose, once this wine opened up juicy raspberry, milk chocolate, smoke, mocha, and mint notes snuck out. On the full-bodied palate the raspberry flavours persisted, with the mocha and smoky notes adding complexity and white pepper showing with the light tannin.
