Yet again with this 2005, Noval has produced an excellent LBV. Dense, full-bodied, with firm tannin. Loaded with sweet, dried fruits (raisins, prunes) but with excellent overall balance and a long finish. Really lovely to sip on to warm one's insides on these cold, damp fall days, but really warrants further ageing. Should hold 5-7 years with ease. Good value at its $26 release prices, stellar value on sale at just over $18. Tasted Nov 2013.
