Picked up a bottle while visiting the winery this past fall during Countylicious. A bit pricey, but very enjoyable.
From the winery's website:
"Our 2010 Quintus is a unique blend of five Old World varietals; Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbecand Petit Verdot. Our blend creates a captivating garnet hue with an inky black tint. The aromas are of florals, dark fruit, cassis, tobacco, earth and a hint of dark chocolate. This complexity translates seamlessly on the palate with balanced acidity and a lingering finish."
Tasted the whole lineup of Karlo wines in August 2013 and I like this one the best (very surprising since I'm a big Pinot Noir bigot). A Bordeaux blend leaning in the St-Emilion style. Drinking very nicely now, till 2018 I would think.
