This is a dry oxidative style of pinot that I find very appealing. The nose shows dry cherry with earthy forest floor...

We picked up a bottle after visiting the winery. Flavours of dark cherries, strawberries, and a hint of leather on the palate. Excellent finish with lingering flavours of candied fruit. Tasted December 2012.

Pale garnet in the glass, this wine has the strawberry, raspberry, and red cherry notes that point to the County, along with baking spice and earthy notes. On the palate, it's mid-weight with good acidity and fine tannins with the cherry and spice notes shining through. The length was very good. Was a very enjoyable bottle, though not a showstopper. Tasted July 2013
