The 2012 Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, from Marlborough – Wairau/Awatere Valleys, has appealing aromas of leechie and gooseberry. It is a light to medium bodied, dry, fruity wine; with good acidity and a medium finish. My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 88 pts. Tasted in May/13 at 'Tasted at New Zealand Wine Fair' http://grapeselections.com/new-zealand-wine-fair/.
