Excellent
Great nose - woodsy caramel notes, blubbery pie, and smoky campfire. The palate is packed with flavour with a silky smooth texture. This is on par with HOP's Baco Reserve...Hybrids really seem to work well in Ontario's climate.
Not often that we see marechal foch, but this was quite nice. Quite stinky on the nose, but in a good black fruit, smoke, and earthy way. On the palate, it's quite soft and round with medium acidity. Was really confused when I tasted this blind, but it was really quite enjoyable. Tasted September 2013.
