Attractively mature left bank Bordeaux here, complex and stylish, supple, silky, classy. This has aged marvellously...

Surprised at the finesse of this wine. For a 2009, shows a nice mix of ripe fruit but still gritty tannin. Still,...

Very Medoc and marked with the imprint of Cabernet Sauvignon, as evidenced leather scents and red pepper. The 2009...

60/40 Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. From the great 2009 vintage and now at 10 years of age, this offers a pretty, fairly intense nose of dried cherry, floral, and red berry aromas that continued to evolve with each sip. It is full-bodied with smooth, refined tannins that are well-integrated. Peppery, tobacco, and earthy flavours join the dried cherry/berry and floral notes on the palate with very good acidity. Excellent finish length. Tasted Mar/2019.
