This is a nice 2006 vintage Rioja from Spain, with hints of spices and lots of sweet berries, cherries and fruit tastes. Goes well with brie cheese. Excellent price/performance ratio - great value. Will buy this again, for sure.

Medium ruby colour and developing its aromas of ripe strawberry, red currant, cedar and nutmeg. The palate is Medium-full-bodied and has intensity with ample acidity. Raspberry jam, cherry chocolates, and a touch of spice on the finish. Quite lengthy. Very good quality and value.

Medium+ ruby in colour with a medium+ intensity on the nose.

Positives: Notes of cedar, sandalwood, cherry covered with black dark chocolate, raspberry and rosemary. Medium body with medium to medium+ tannins, good acidity a fairly long length.

Negatives: None

Drink now or in the next couple of years on its on or pair it with grilled lamb chops.
