Not much to add on tasting notes here. An elegant wine that focuses on restraint. complex and layered with depth for the price. A great grab at the bin end sale.

Tasted August 2013.

Medium ruby in colour with a slight cloudiness and a medium+ intense nose.

Full flavour wine that is truly enjoyable. Best Buy at the clearance price.

Positives: The wine is complex featuring cedar, plums, white & red peppers, strawberry, raspberry, cassis, cloves, cinnamon, basil, sage, dried leaves and mushrooms. Medium body and medium tannins with good acidity and a long length.

Negatives: None

Drink now or over the next 3 years on its own or pair it with tenderloin grilled steak.

This is a nice blend of Australian grenache/linsaut/carignan/shiraz that is light to medium-dodied and has tastes of berries and a touch of spice. Reasonable long finish.

This wine opened up with aromas of plum/strawberry/raspberry fruit, dried violet, white pepper and savoury spices. On the mouthfeel, medium bodied (with alcohol at 14%), light on its feet, delicate texture, spicy plum jelly flavours, good acidity and smooth well integrated tannins. This blends finish is medium length, not very complex but smooth with nice flavours. Very interesting, easy drinking Australian Rhône blend from Australia and very enjoyable.
