At 17 years of age, this is now a deep gold, almost orange. Nose is a little tight, but seems stony, almost like a Riesling. Very mellow, full of apricot and pear flavours and balancing acidity to hold it together. A little short perhaps. Not perceptually all that sweet, and more satisfying for it.
