Still a deep ruby orange, quite attractive. Out of the bottle, musty but opens to reveal some pretty dried flower aromas with hints of cedar and wood smoke (more evident when the glass is empty). Fruit is still nicely intact if tending towards the mature end of the spectrum. All in a nice mature CS but certainly doesn’t justify its price A Bordeaux from a good vintage would give much more.
