The 2006 Gianni Gagliardo Barolo has intense aromas of dried pomegranate, cedar, cigar box and anise. It is light to medium bodied, integrated to aged, with good acidity, grippy tannins (decant for 30+ min) and long and smooth finish. Drink it as a sipper or with salty meats; drink now-2020+. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 91+ pts – recommended based on quality. Tasted March/13.
