I picked up a few bottles after sampling this wine while visiting vineyards in Prince Edward County. Flavours of lemons and pears with lingering hints of caramel on the finish. Tasted December 2012.
This Pinot Gris has that tell-tale blush of pink in the glass with aromas of lemon, tea, roses, and green apple on the nose. At 11.5% alcohol, this is a very light wine. The palate is crisp and citrusy with a moderately long finish; an unusual example of a Pinot Gris, that proves to be intriguing.
