Textbook Gewürztraminer! Rose, lychee, stone fruit, spice....would be no question what you're drinking if tasted blind. Off dry and medium-full bodied, it has good acidity to keep things balanced. It definitely needs food (spicy curry would be the perfect fare) due to the intensity of the wine, as the intensity of the wine can be a bit overwhelming on its own. It's a truly amazing wine though with a finish that goes on and on. Let this warm up and let your senses get blown away. Tasted June 2013.
This wine is not "just off-dry" as John Szabo writes. It is quite sweet. Too sweet, without balancing acidity. The nose is intriguing, but then the overwhelming sweetness disappoints.
