Fairly decent effort. Well worth of the Christmas parties you will be throwing pretty soon. Nice full-body wine at a decent price. Tasted December 2012.

Blend of cab sauv, cab franc and merlot. Black pepper, cassis, raspberry and dark fruit aromas. Medium-bodied with more raspberry, pepper and herbal notes on the palate. There's also a touch of smokiness. Balanced, structured tannins with enough acidity. Tasted July 2012.

2013 Vintage

Light bodied - shows smoky raspberry with loads of green bell pepper, dried basil and dried leaf notes. Too green for me.
