Lemony straw colour with hints of green. A hint of smoky oak on the nose with some lovely appley, nutty, and minerally aromas to accompany. Lively acidity on the palate. Drink now through 2018.
Reviewed July 9th.

JS nails it...the oak is VERY subdued, which allows the wildly interesting and fun fruit/mineral flavors to have their say.
I will be getting more of this.
Lovely wine; makes me proud to be a local.

Loved this wine for its fullness of character – smooth, big, ripe, lush, tropical & zesty fruits with buttery mineral notes, vanilla oak and more. Very nice long caressing finish.

Medium+ straw in colour with a medium to medium+ nose.

Well balanced & made in the Mâcon style.

Positives: Oak is well integrated and features white roses, mandarin, grapefruit, verbena, fennel, lemon grass, lemon rind, green apples, pear and limestone. Medium body with above average acidity for a Chard and a very long length. Don't over chill.

Negatives: A touch too sour on the finish for me.

Interesting Notes: I used the large warmer or Meursault style Chard glass and the smaller traditional Chard glass and each one were slightly different and I couldn’t decide which one I liked best.

Drink now on or over the next 5 years on its own or pair it with creamy seafood risotto.

Apple and butter aromas with lots of minerality shining through. On the palate there is more minerality with citrus notes and lively acidity at mid-palate. Oak is very well integrated. Tasted Sept/2012.

Generous notes of golden delicious apple, stonefruits, roast walnut, sweet spice and cardamom. There’s a medium-full bodied, creamy texture that has minerality and acidity for some vibrancy. The refinement, balance and length are all premium qualities.
