Fruity inviting. Sweet and tender, chewy; end rather warm and rich, without becoming cumbersome. - Tasted: June 2014

I found this bottle to be quite open and fragrant after a 30 minute decant, and it continued to open up in the glass. There was really strong, elegant flavour intensity, despite the light bodied feel. Paired with pan seared duck breast with a strawberry port sauce, it was magnificent.

The 2010 Tawse Grower’s Blend Pinot Noir has intense, lifted aromas of prune, pomegranate and vanilla. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine, with good acidity, refined tannins and a medium to long finish. It is food friendly, but enjoy it on its own; drink now – 2018+. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 91 pts – recommended buy for its quality and value. Tasted at 'Taste Ontario 2013' http://grapeselections.com/taste-ontario-2013/ in October/13.

This is the entry level "Bourgonge" from the Tawse folk and my my my is it ever a treat to drink. The quality of this wine demonstrates their pure love and dedication to burgundian varietals...reminds me of Village Burgundy...or a perfect woman. Rosy, sweet and delicious. Structured and serious but graceful, fun and affordable.

Nose of strawberry, allspice, Christmas cake.

Medium weight for a Pinot on the palate.

Elegant and well balanced.

Good value.

Pale ruby. Nicely typed, with candied fruit n the nose and some light spice. Med bodied, round, with decent complexity.
