This is a wonderful bottle. After a hour in carafe I enjoyed it with a sirloin steak and just mashed potatoes. Simple dish for a great bordeaux. Ripe and complex with cedar notes and cocoa nose and a good balance. I loved it.
Very smooth, with none of the flaws often found in a cheaper Medoc. A slight taste of pepper and vanilla. Great value, especially for a Bordeaux wine.
Hooray! A sub-25 Bordeaux that tastes good!
Agree with the consensus. Also a better value than the 2001 Bord from the same release which costs 3 bucks more
