A wonderful example that is characteristic of Sancerre. Crisp green apple, lemon-lime and green bell pepper. The palate is well-balanced with lively acidity and minerality. Great length. November 2012

This is a youthful sauvignon blanc shows mostly primary fruit and vegetal characteristics such as elderflower, gooseberry, green bell pepper, pear, lemon and hints of apricot and peach. The palate is soft, mouth watering and slightly short and bitter on the finish. The balance of the wine is slightly off as the flavour intensity and body do not fully match the higher level of acidity. As with Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre there is the characteristic of stony minerality that comes from the chalky, very stoney soil. This is an acceptable wine that is suitable to drink now.
