A very deeply coloured, full-bodied red from the Corbieres AC. Lots going on here, with plenty of blackberry fruit, local herbs, and dried meat flavours. Alcohol is noted though not to distraction and fine acidity keeps the wine crisp. Alot of wine given the price. drinking now or over the next couple of years. Tasted August 2012.
Deep ruby colour with black cherry, moist cedarbox, earth and root vegetable. The medium-full-bodied palate had firm tannin and a bit of heat. Medium length. Decant for full potential. Good value. Nov 2012
