Lovely colour with hazelnuts, Asian pears and persimmons on the nose. Wonderful mouth feel with nuts, pears and slight smoke on the palate and just a hint of acidity on the very long finish.

Pleasant Chardonnay from Beamsville's Hidden Bench Winery. Nice but not overpowering oak flavours. Slightly buttery on the palate. 13.1% alc./vol. Goes well with roast chicken. Tasted October 2011.
