In my opinion this wine is below average for a muscato. Though it should be noted the bottle I just tried was from 2011. The initial flavour was slightly sour and the aftertaste was definitely bitter grapefruit. Not what I was hoping for from a moscato.
This is a great cheap day at the cottage wine. its good for drinking cold outside... other then that it is very light with little aroma in this bottle of wine you get what you pay for.
If there were a lower rating I would have used it - Moscato is my favourite varietal and I have had several from all over the world. I was excited to find a Pelee Island one and was bitterly disappointed (pun intended). My first impression after opening the bottle was cat urine - that impression continued with every sip thereafter. NOT RECOMMENDED.
