This is one of those wines that instantly makes an impression. Golden in the glass, the wine's age and oak ageing are quite apparent. The nose pops with ripe tropical aromas (papaya and mango), peach, mandarine, lemon zest, and orange blossom notes. On the palate, it's quite full-bodied and very round with high acidity (somewhat surprising). Flavours repeat on the palate, though there's a bit of spice coming through on the very long finish. This is an incredibly complex and satisfying wine for those who enjoy rich styles like this. Pricey, but worth it. Tasted September 2014

I've tried this at least five times (most recently at a Cheese Boutique event at the winery).
It's always a pleasure.
Easily worth the price point.
