Intense apple, pear, butter and peach aromas with replays on the palate. Extra dry wine that is medium-bodied and very smooth, with a lengthy finish. Nice!! Tasted Sept/2012.

This is a well made and well priced Chardonnay. With ripe red apple dominating, there are light smoky, toasty notes with vanilla and spice from the oak treatment. The palate adds a nice tropical twist, and a great acidity typical of Ontario wine makes this very food friendly. This will pair nicely with your turkey dinner with all the fixings (stuffing, mashed potatoes with butter, etc.) but I really like it with my favourite turkey leftover recipe – turkey pot pie.

Nicely balanced chardonnay, with typical citrusy flavours, notes of apple, and well integrated oak. Acidity is a touch lower than I normally find in Niagara chards (due to the warmer vintage) but the wine is not soft or flabby. Very well made, though not especially memorable (or perhaps its just due to the fact that I don't love chardonnay). For near term drinking. tasted April 2013.
