Third White wine at LCBO Old Wine Appreciation course notes:
-Yellow/ Golden colour
-grassy/ methyl smell on linger (aka- don't linger)
-ripe apples
-low acid, matured in oak- the oak is subtle and softens the taste/finish. (not oak fwd)
-vanilla smoke, buttery finish, round
*I have never been a fan of white wines but I would say that this is a wine that would change my mind considerably.
Really well balanced- you can tell a good wine when you can instantly imagine what you would want to eat this with- as soon as I tasted this I wrote down:
"Fish in cream sauce!" and "buttery oysters"
Quite enjoyable.
