Pleasant dense ruby red color. I get strong smoked meat / herbal aromas with the more typical red fruit and pepper. The palate is a pleasant blend of red fruit and peppery spice, but a bit chewy and lacking in layered sophistication. The finish is hot and drying with medium length.
