Light-medium bodied, with typical Sangiovese flavours of sour cherries with subtle hints of vanilla. Good acidity as one would want from a Chianti. Yet, despite the apparent authenticity of this wine, I find it muted and too simple to justify the $18 price tag. I had superior Chiantis for half the cots in my travels to Tuscany a few years back. Drink now. Tasted March 2012.
