2007 Reserve Meritage.

A valiant Meritage consisting of big uncompromised tannins that makes for a super concentrated wine. It still needs time to age gracefully, but it’s hard not to consume now, especially after you’ve tasted its greatness. It’s taut structure and purity of fruit is really inspiring for the future of Bordeaux blends here in Niagara. This very well maybe the best Meritage produced in Niagara’s ideal 2007 vintage. 5 Stars
