My third tasting of the 2000 Potensac (my last tasting was 2 years ago), a wine that has dissapointed with lean fruit in the past. Yet, to my pleasant surpise, this time the fruit has emerged. Nice blend of red fruit, herbs, well-integrated wood and a pleasantly tart finish, characteristically left bank Bordeaux. Seems to be at its peak, should hold a few more years. Quite nice this time around. Most recently tasted Dec 2013.
