Gilles Mondié is a young dynamic producer. He is responsible for the running of the 50ha estate of Domaine Mondié close to the village of Argeliers where he is a member of the cooperative. Planted on south facing clay soils, the vines average twenty years. The grapes were harvested in the cool hours of early morning and after crushing macerated for three weeks during a cool fermentation. Intense purple in colour, the palate is plums, cherries and soft berry fruits.
