I've held off reviewing this Liqueur because quite frankly, I don't want people to find out about it. It's absolutely delicious. Alone on ice, it's wonderful. If you don't know what "Elderflower" tastes/smells like, think Lychee, as that's what jumps out at you. Great with champagne and soda as the previous review pointed out, and makes for an incredible Gin and Tonic (add a 1/2 oz).
Simply Wow! Makes a great cocktail when mixed with champagne and club soda. Check St-Germain's website for other mixing suggestions.
Delicate flavours of elderflower, with sweetness and an almost syrupy texture. Really brings out the best in gin. Add a dash of a fruit bitter and some tonic or soda.
The making of St Germain is a wonderfully interesting process. Look into it.
Aside from its' unique flavour, it is also an impressive packaging job. Certainly draws much attention amongst your liquor collection.
Makes a delicious cocktail.
