Nice level of complexity for price. Nice balance of spice and softness. To be enjoyed immediately and with red meats.
An unsophisticated but pleasant wine with soft mouthfeel, cherry fruit, mild spice and a slightly hot finish. It gets extra points for being so cheap. A good casual BBQ wine where wine is an afterthought.
Smooth and aromatic red offers aromas of black cherry, wood smoke, and black raspberry. Rich and dense on palate, black fruits, spices and tobacco, nicely structured.
Warm finish with pleasant aftertaste.
Tasted November 2012.
