drinkable right out of the bottle, tons of fruit on the nose, subtle spice on the back end, very warming and mellow. has a subtle richness that lasts on the tongue, very enjoyable

2010 vintage. Mostly Zinfandel and blended with Petite Sirah and Petite Verdot. Medium-intensity crushed black fruit and sweet red fruit aromas with cedar undertones. Medium-bodied and very fruit-forward with red fruits, red berries and black cherry on the palate. Medium acidity and integrated tannins. Crowd-pleaser and a good introduction to new red wine drinkers. Tasted April/2013.

Purple color and aromas of blackberry and oak. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of smokey, raisin, bacon, cedar and black pepper with a medium body. Juicy texture with a medium finish.

I poured myself a glass and my wife drank the rest of the bottle!

This is a palate staining ultra modern (and subsequently popular) California red from the Lodi region. In a word: tasty, but there are many other adjectives used to describe this style that I won’t mention; it is what it is – a big bold bbq wine to pair with ribs and burgers. Very tasty but the one glass was more than enough for me.

Incidentally, this product is grossly overpriced at the LCBO; you can grab it for $15 in Buffalo, NY. Tasted May 2012.

An easy drinking wine as you might expect from Cali Zin, rather short on sophistication and with 15% alcohol, definitely 'hot' on the palate. It's a commercial offering and as such, over priced at $25......if you're going to buy it, go to the US where it's $11-12!!
Oh the joy of living with a monopoly!!
