Unbeatable for the price. An awesome Chard
Yes, the label caught my attention and just may be the reason I picked this bottle up off of the shelf and eventually took it home. It is very eye catching and appealing, and so is the stuff inside.
2010 was a warm vintage, and it shows in this wine with more tropical fruits rather than pear notes. Some citrus provides good acidity balance. Butterscotch notes offered from the oak round out the wine with good balance. Worth a taste or two!
