Simple, oaky, smoky, savoury, a rustic wine here to be sure, with very firm, astringent tannins and short finish....

All the things a Refosco should be: acidic, tannic, a little bitter with dark berry fruit and dried herbs on the nose. It holds your attention with a long, fruity finish and would be a great match for some charcuterie.
