The aromas are classic Zin, blackberry jam, crush raspberries, peppery, fruit cake and cedar. A rich, sensuous and full bodied mouthfeel, generous alcohol at 15.5% but well balanced by sweet ripe fruit, surprisingly good acidity for a Napa Valley wine with chewy tannins. The finish is long, peppery and slightly drying tannins. The sign of a great wine is that each glass gets better and better. Gorgeous wine amd I will keep my last bottle of this vintage for next fall.
