The 2008 Burrowing Owl Cabernet Franc is a dense, opulent wine with big fruit, oak and structure to cellar for years. Intense dark fruits, oak and a hint of earth fill the nose, while the palate is smooth, fruity and tannic, true to its young age. A great wine that would be even better with a bit of restraint and more finesse.
