Very sensual, feminine nose with twiggy bramble, violets and cool herbal notes presented on the palate. Quite elegant...

Gloss indeed! This is an unabashedly sweet, confected style of pinot noir from the folks who brought us Caymus...

Ok. So this is a commercialized wine to be sure. It's sweet (a bit too sweet), oaky, full of herbaceous and mocha flavours and finishes hot. That said, it's quite tasty, silky in the mid-palate and likely to please on purely hedonistic grounds. At this price, it's hard to expect much more in a Pinot, though if you've experienced what Pinot is capable of you'll like be disappointed.

I always enjoy the Meiomi Pinot Noir. I'm drinking it now as I write this, slightly chilled. This wine has good red fruit, medium length and soft tannins. It's enjoyable to drink. It doesn't make you think. It's nice to have a wine like that once in a while.

nice pinot with nose and flavours of smoky raspberry. the body is a tad thin and the finish is a tad acidic.

This is nothing short of a full-on assault of modernistic Pinot. Certainly not ‘my style’ though I did find it pleasant enough to sip alongside conversation and finger foods recently. Gobs of sweet cherry and chocolate leave little else to the imagination, and but for the price tag, this is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Tasted April 2012.
