What struck me about this wine was the pronounced aroma of green apples, but as sharp as it was, the apples disappeared just as quickly and were replaced by spice and hint of black pepper. A soft oakiness on the palate with notes of peach and toast on the finish. An easy drinking wine on its own or with food. (northof9finewine, April 2011)
Gold in colour with a medium+ intensity on the nose.
Positives: An inoffensive chard that should please the masses. Notes of lemon, nectarine, peach, apple, some wet stone & a light creamy oak finish.
Negatives: None.
A food friendly chard that is also easy to drink on its own. Priced fairly.
