This has such a pure, powerful and focused gewurz nose with the fruit somewhere between lychee and barely underripe...

It takes the French to make a great German wine! This is heaven, with a wonderful long finish, and not too sweet. Serve chilled, perhaps as an aperitif before dinner. Best of all, it is now in the general section, so it should be available for a while.

Flowery and fruity, but not overtly sweet. Very enjoyable. Tasted December 2011 and. February 2012.

Delicious, soft Gewurtz with great length and not too sweet. Was a perfect match with fish cooked asian-style. Tasted September 2012.

Alsace tends to craft a softer and more classical version of Gewurztraminer; this one is off dry but certainly not sweet; lychee with pronounced floral and herb aromas integrate nicely with the roundness of the flavour profile. This is a wine that you can sip solo or with lunch on the weekend. Tasted Jan 2012.

Roses, honey wax, orange rind, lychee, and white pepper on the nose. The wine is medium-bodoed with a lingering lychee aftertaste. It is off-dry but tastes more on the dry side.

Fruity, a hint of bitterness though.
