A rather traditional style of syrah. It has an old world feel with earthy notes in addition to the dark fruit and pepper that one expects. On the palate, a medium body and again more of that Northern Rhône feel; not a Cali or Aussie fruit bomb. Try it with a rich herbed red meat dish but let the wine breath for a couple of hours.
