The dark-fruit-filled nose was apparent upon opening, but it was otherwise tight and unrewarding on the palate. It took about an hour to open up in the bottle, at which point it started providing more complex mocha and floral characters. The consensus: a "correct" wine but somewhat uninspiring. Disagree with Antonio Galloni's score of 90.
