Stong fresh cherry towards kirsch nose. Great red fruit, with a tannic edge. Good to excellent length. Paired it with medium rare butterflied leg of lamb. Absolutely excellent. Great pinot for a great price.

Think Sting early nineties. Pull the curtains, light a candle, and turn to a dog eared page in your Kama Sutra. Pour your special friend a glass of this seductive Pinot Noir. Or... ready the grill and serve this with Cedar planked Salmon.

Wow, this punches way above its weight. I would say it's at its peak right now (Nov 2011), but will likley hold a while. Good deep ruby colour. A very attractive fruit-forward nose, underpinned by some nice mineral complexity. Similar flavours. Clean as a whistle, too, with decent body and length to tie it all together. Rates very high on the "Yum" scale.

funny little wine. the nose offers me a heavy dose of old world earthy barn yard and a funky new world artificial cherry - cotton-candy fruit. I also pick up wet turkey meat and sour cranberry sauce...sour cherries dominate the palate, it's dry, well made and focused. Missing some pinot love for me. Interesting but not amazing.

Pale ruby in colour, now imagine if you close your eyes, you could believe you are in a garden with aromas of beetroot, dried mushroom, earthy barnyard, cherry, rhubarb and violet notes. Now that’s Pinot Noir for you, love it. On the mouthfeel, medium bodied (13% Alc.), lively acidity, dusty tannins and sour cherry with sweet baking spices flavours. Good length on the finish, slightly gritty, rustic tannins with an interesting earthy notes duking it out with the sour edged flavours of cherry and plum. Very nice wine here with excellent value for money Pinot Noir from Burgundy.

Nice nose, very floral at first, then settling into dark cherry with a strong hint of cinnamon. Pleasant on the palate, but certainly not velvety, with a bitter tannic edge that was tempered nicely by the food accompaniment. I enjoyed many good and affordable red Burgundies back in the 1980's that were much superior to this one, but sadly, they are now way out of my price range. Nowadays, the New World (New Zealand, California, Ontario,...) offers better value for pinot noir lovers.
