This blend of 40% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 10% Syrah has a fragrant, lifted nose of vanillin oak, mocha, and chocolate aromas layered over red cherry, clove, currant, plus touches of sweet oak spice and floral. On the dry, medium+ bodied palate it has pleasing aroma replays supported by juicy acidity. Velvety tannins are smooth and refined, while the length is very good on the supple finish.
