Very nice surprise. It should not have been because I often buy this Chianti Classico when in Florida.

Very good typical Chianti Classico, with the sour cherry bite that I usually appreciate in sangiovese-based wines.

I'm repeating myself, but its best quality is its typicity.

Great value.

Bright red cherry-currants, with an pronounced sour cherries and bracing acidity. A somewhat more traditionally styled Chianti, but one that is very nicely made. Should be a good match with tomato-based pastas and pizza. A good value to boot.

Had the wine for Christina's birthday. Good tasting wine with lasagna.
