Mainly Sangiovese, this has a shy nose that is a touch reductive, slowly revealing spiced Morello cherry, and red berry aromas, plus hints of floral and sweet spices. The medium+ bodied palate is dry and flavoursome with lovely floral, cherry, and sweet spice replays supported by very good acidity and supple, textured tannins. Savoury, spiced cherry notes linger on the long, well-balanced finish. Tasted May 2025.
