Bottled aged for 65 months, this 100% Chardonnay has a medium-high intensity nose that is fresh and elegant with smoky, leesy mineral, savoury aromas alongside ripe green apple, pear, citrus, and stone fruit, plus some autolytic characters. It has clean acidity and a fine bead of bubbles on the palate, which is slightly spicy on the mid-palate. Ripe orchard fruits, toasty, and autolytic notes round out the flavour profile. Lovely apple, pear, spice, toasty, and brioche notes linger on the long, juicy, and crisp finish. Tasted June 2025.
