Primarily Tannat with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon in support, this has a fresh, medium-high intensity nose that has ripe black fruits, blackberry, black cherry, currant, herbs, and wood spice aromas. The densely packed aromas echo on the dry, medium-full bodied palate, and is supported by well-structured and approachable tannins. It has a pleasant mouthfeel with well-balanced acidity, while the finish is long and a touch grippy. Tasted Sept. 2024. Score: 90+ pts
