tastes at Brio Gusto May 2011, was good enough to order a case from LCBO!A layered and pretty wine, with berry and cherry character and hints of new wood. Full-bodied, yet reserved and balanced. Best from 2011 through 2016. Smart Buy. Score - 91. (James Suckling, winespectator.com, Oct. 31, 2010)
Nicely balanced wine. Full of flavour. Good Chianti.
Complex nose of; sour cherries, plums, spicy and soft leather. This Chianti as medium body, with crisp acidity, dusty tannins with long elegant sweet and sour and the finish. It’s great to see that some winemakers are letting the fruits shine through by moderating there use of oak.
Tasted November 2011.
